Ganbare Nippon: Patterns for Colouring

Carlton Hibbert is another fantastic UK based illustrator who has been very supportive of our Ganbare Nippon appeal. He owns a fantastic website called "Patterns for Colouring" where you can download and print out great patterns for colouring in! It is all about getting kids (or anyone) interested in colour, and jump-starting their creativity. You can create and submit a black and white outline pattern that can be added to their growing library, his intention is to get the site used by primary schools, activity clubs and parents. Isn't it amazing?

You can download the b/w outline pattern above from his website here!

These lovely drawings were created by year 9 pupils of La Sainte Union school in North London, thank you so much!
I really love how full of life these drawings are, and it was very touching for me to see these, it actually brought me to tears... Many thanks to the pupils of La Sainte Union school and Jenny Robins who kindly offered to share such beautiful art with us.
